Contract/Custom Propagation
Our Contract/Custom Propagation Service is especially useful for high
demand plants, rare plants, new introductions, and site specific reclamation.
You supply plant material and we propagate it exclusively for you. We are
also happy to do small orders or overflow for other tissue culture companies.

Reclamation and Re-vegetation Plants
Starting in 2007, we have expanded our operations into the land
reclamation and re-vegetation field. We will start by producing
site-specific and site-adapted plants for mine land reclamation sites.
Our process will enable us to collect plant material from a specific site or
region and produce thousands of highly adapted plants quickly, cleanly, and
consistently for any re-vegetation project.

Tissue Culture Stock Storage
Losses happen. Whether man made or by natural causes,
problems can occur at your site that wipe out precious tissue culture stock
material. By storing back-up stock, off-site, far enough to miss local
disasters but close enough for quick retrieval, you’ve insured your company
against total loss. At SMK Plants we essentially treat your tc stock
with the same care that we have been treating our stock for the last twenty
years. One of our scientists is assigned to your stock and responsible for
everything from media preparation to periodic transfers. Your privacy is
also well maintained. We identify each stock plant only by its jar ID and the
customer keeps records on the actual identity of each stock plant. The customer
owns the stock plants and can choose to have any excess material destroyed or
shipped back.

Research Service
Our laboratory facility and expertise are available for any tissue culture
research you are interested in pursuing. Tissue culture techniques can be
use for all types of plant improvement, from speeding up seed germination to
